The automated system "Electronic Library of the National Library of Belarus" provides remote access to digital copies of documents from the collections of the National Library of Belarus.
These are book publications, abstracts of dissertations and dissertations in various languages of the world, posters, prints, postcards and other materials. In total, there are more than 130 thousand documents.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Copyright and Related Rights", according to the level of
access, the materials are conditionally divided into two groups:
• documents in the public domain: marked with an icon , you can view them in any convenient place and download them in pdf. format.;
• documents with limited access: marked with an icon , you can view them in the library's reading rooms or receive fragments of them through the electronic document delivery service.
The automated system allows you to perform two types of search:
• basic (by author, title, subject, ISBN/ISSN number, all fields);
• extended (by author, title, subject, publisher, series, publication date, ISBN/ISSN number, all fields).
On the advanced search page, you can select a specific type of document (book, dissertation abstract, dissertation, edition, etc.), the language of the publication, select only recognized documents (the "Documents with full text" tab).
In addition, for the convenience of users, it is possible to search through full-text collections represented by nineteen different topics reflecting rare and old printed publications, manuscripts, personal libraries of prominent figures, unique factual material about Belarus as a whole and its regions.
Registered users can use the personal account service, which allows you to save search queries, create lists of necessary publications with the ability to sort them into groups or collections, order the original document to work in the reading rooms of the National Library of Belarus.
The number of documents presented in the automated system "Electronic Library of the National Library of Belarus" is constantly increasing.
